Departure of the "Ponds"

So I recently found this and I must say it does answer some unanswered questions (MOFFAT!!!)... So we all watched "The Angels Take Manhattan" and some of you may have even cried over the departure of the "Ponds"... Well some questions were left unanswered such as this one..
So Brian Williams told Rory and Amy to go off with the Doctor... Whom offers Brian a chance to join them... He declines, stating that some one had to water the plants... Rory, Amy and The Doctor head off... You know the rest of the story from here...

So anyways it never really explains how Brian finds out that his son is not coming back... Basically it just shows The Doctor saddened by his loss, then boom next episode he is off on his next adventure... No mention of Brian or anything of the such... Well turns out there was something written for this yet sadly never got shot...

Now I did not cry when the "Ponds" left but this scene above did get me...

Just imagine the feelings Brian must be having through out all this, learning that his child is not coming home, the fact that he will never see them again, blaming himself for telling them to go, mad at the The Doctor for not saving them, Mad at The Doctor for not coming back to tell him... I think this scene really should have been shot as it would have wrapped up the "Ponds" story quite well...
